Rising dance stars

There are stars that are already gone and created dance moves that became history like Michael Jacksons moonwalk and there are stars who just started their career and are at the peak of it. These ones are breaking the dance world and industry, they are social media influencers, dancers, choreographers and much more.

Maddie Ziegler

From 2015 to 2017 she was named the most influential teenager. She got first noticed and became famous when she was just 8 years old. Ziegler appeared on the show Dance Moms. Dancer became alter ego to a pop singer Sia and been dancing in multiple of her music videos. Video of her song Chandelier has 1.8 billion views. Young Ziegler followed singer on tours, released her clothing line and is the youngest judge on the TV show So You Think You Can Dance.

Matt Steffanina

He grew up a professional and competitive snowboarder, but at age 18 found his love and passion for hip hop. Matt won the Amazing race in 2016 and since then became famous of his work with Taylor Swift, Snoop Dog and other stars. He is not just a choreographer and teaches dance, but also can be seen at dance conventions around the world. Steffanina created and app called JustMove for another dancer to record, collaborate and compete. On his YouTube channel you can find tutorials of dance moves and recorded rehearsals.

Tricia Miranda

Her background is full of variety from ballet to hip hop and she manages to do it all. In 2015 she was a choreographer for Missy Elliot’s Superbowl half time show. Made appearance on the show The Pulse on Tour, hosted her own masterclass. Miranda works as choreographer with many celebrities like Beyoncé, Demi Lovato, Fergie, Britney Spears and more.  The New York Times named her dancer who moved and shook the industry.

Lia Kim

She is a chief choreographer and co-founder of One Million Dance Studio in Seoul. Kim has worked with many Korean Pop (K-Pop) stars. She is known for her iconic dances, moves and acts like JYP, YG and others. Dancer was one of the judges of 2016 World of Dance, main instructor for the Urban Dance Camp and Fair Play Dance Camp. She travels the world with her masterclasses and workshops not sticking just to pop or hip hop but incorporating and creating new dance moves.

Kyle Hanagami

You can see his work in commercials like Fanta one, in music videos of the famous Korean pop group Girls generation or on TV like The X Factor. He is a star and his work show it! Hanagami dances for stars like Justin Bieber, Black Eyed Peas. LA Magazine of dance named him hottest upcoming choreographer. Dancer received award for the best dance class in Los Angeles.

Misty Copeland

This wonderful woman is the first African- American who became principal dancer of American Ballet Théâtre in 79 years of history. Misty started dancing when she was 13 and just in two years won first place in the Music Center Spotlight Awards. She received many awards and endorsed companies and brands like Diet Dr Pepper, American Express.  She can do more than dance, Copeland wrote a bestseller Life in Motion.
